Studio 508 provides a full suite of post-production sound services, delivered by our experienced in-house team and extended through trusted collaborators to suit the scale and needs of each project. Our core services include sound supervision, story-driven sound design, sound editing, and mixing for film, television, and streaming.
Our Collaborators
Foley and ADR are readily incorporated as part of our workflow, where we work alongside trusted recordists and engineers. We can also support remote collaboration via Source Connect monitoring where required. Our capabilities also extend to field recording for bespoke sound effects, and, when appropriate, access to original music composition through our creative network. The ABC building we’re based at, also includes a cafe that provides a variety of meals, for those long days in the studio.

Equipment Specifics
DOLBY Atmos Home Entertainment
Featuring horn-loaded Krix speakers for transparent, dynamic sound and a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos home entertainment setup, it’s the perfect environment for feature film and television mixing.
Workflow
Designed for dual-operator workflows, we run Pro Tools with a full suite of industry-standard plugins, supported by a secure server and network to protect client content. Our facility includes two sizeable rooms and multiple satellite workstations, giving flexibility for any project scale.
Monitoring
Monitoring is handled through DADman control via a Core 256 interface, with QSC and Yamaha amplification driving Krix and JBL cinema speakers for accurate, reliable playback.
Every mix is crafted to translate seamlessly to larger auditoria while giving clients a focused, immersive experience.
